Experiencing a retreat will give you a good understanding and overview of the many aspects of yoga. We usually give an introduction to asanas (postures), meditation, pranayama (breathing practices), philosophy, different styles of yoga, shatkarma (cleaning practices) and anatomy. We also organise havan fire ceremony and kirtan. We provide ayurvedic food and accommodation which will suit your practice. Retreats usually last for 3 to 7 seven days.
You will get the chance to discover the yogic lifestyle and see Rishikesh, capital of yoga, with a local point of view. We take small groups of people which allow us to focus more on each student. Retreats at Yogasvarupe are focused on the experience teacher-student. We want to share our passion for yoga and show you how you can integrate it in your life.
